A Workshop on Preparation of Road Map for Language Studies was held on 16th and 17th March, 2026. The Resource Persons are Prof. Jyoti Prakash Tamuly, Retd. Prof. & Head, Dept. of Linguistics, Gauhati University , Prof. Anita Tamuly, Retd. Prof. & Head, Dept. of ELT, Gauhati University and Dr. Prafulla Basumatary, Project Associate, A14 Bharat, IIT, Madras.

The department organizes seminars on a regular basis for students, research scholars, faculty members, and other participants to encourage academic discussion and intellectual exchange.
